Your booking

You request an independent professional’s cleaning services through ChoreJet. Review home size, condition, pets, address time zone, date, scope, add-ons and price before submitting. Acceptance by a cleaner is required; posting alone is not a guaranteed appointment. Do not request prohibited, hazardous or specialized work beyond the stated scope.

Access, property and safety

You must be authorized to request service at the address, provide lawful access and disclose hazards such as aggressive animals, infestation, dangerous substances, broken fixtures or unsafe structures. Secure valuables, weapons and confidential documents. Arrange safe conditions for household members and pets. You remain responsible for your own conduct; these precautions do not waive a legitimate damage or injury claim.

Funding and scope

Complete the displayed payment through the platform after acceptance and before service begins when required. Basic cleaning supplies and equipment are included in the current stated service scope unless the booking expressly says otherwise. Special products, sensitivities and surfaces must be discussed beforehand. Additional work requires agreement on scope and price; a cleaner cannot impose undisclosed charges.

Completion, feedback and complaints

Check the result and report concerns with booking-specific information through support. Leaving a rating is optional and honest negative feedback is permitted. Rewards are calculated from eligible completed services, not from the positivity of your review. Any courtesy request to report promptly does not shorten a statutory deadline or waive legal rights.

Cancellation and documents

The Cancellation Policy applies. Paid cancellations and refunds may need support review; fees are not presumed merely because you cancel. The Terms, Electronic Consent and Rewards Rules also apply. The Privacy Notice describes use of your address, communications and payment records. No clause makes you liable for the cleaner’s or ChoreJet’s own unlawful conduct.

Operator and legal notices

ChoreJet is operated by Sefa Koz as an individual proprietor. Postal notices and document requests may be addressed to: Sefa Koz, ChoreJet, 1323 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, United States. You may also use Legal Contact for legal notices, privacy requests and copies. Include your name, reply contact and relevant booking reference; do not include unnecessary sensitive information. This is a correspondence address, not a customer service location. Sending a website message does not replace any legally required method of service of judicial process or statutory notice.

Crew recommendations, assigned team and completion estimates

Estimated person-hours describe the total scoped cleaning effort. The recommended number of cleaners and estimated elapsed time are planning estimates, not a guarantee of staffing or a fixed finish time. Your dashboard distinguishes recommended staffing, assigned cleaners and accepted work offers. If a smaller eligible team can complete the agreed scope safely and within its availability, the service may take longer. You may review the revised estimate and contact support if the proposed timing is unsuitable. Tasks are allocated to individual cleaners to prevent overlap; customers should request changes through ChoreJet rather than privately changing team assignments.

Staffing changes during service

Unstarted tasks may be offered to another accepted team member with the corresponding additional payment and time. The transfer requires the donating cleaner’s request or a recorded operations proposal after a verified staffing shortage, your approval of the revised completion estimate and the receiving cleaner’s acceptance. Your approval does not automatically increase the booked customer price. Additional customer charges or scope changes require a separate explicit agreement. Work already completed remains recorded; partially performed, blocked or disputed work requires support review. If completion is not feasible, support must review replacement, rescheduling, service scope or applicable cancellation/refund terms. A cleaner’s absence does not authorize marking unfinished work complete. Dashboard progress and final checks are service records, not a waiver of your right to report a problem.

Accidental property damage and the marketplace's role

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHOREJET DOES NOT ASSUME LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED SOLELY BY AN INDEPENDENT CLEANER OR ANOTHER PARTICIPANT SIMPLY BECAUSE YOU BOOKED THROUGH THE PLATFORM. A cleaner remains responsible for damage caused by their own negligence or wrongful conduct to the extent established under applicable law. This includes potential accidental breakage of household belongings and damage to furniture, appliances, floors, glass or other surfaces, including through unsuitable products. Neither an accident nor a complaint alone establishes fault. This clause does not release ChoreJet from its own negligence or other misconduct, or from responsibility imposed by law. The Terms' mandatory-rights and relationship safeguards apply.

Valuables, fragile items and unsuitable work

Before service, reasonably secure cash, jewelry, collectibles, artwork, sentimental or unusually valuable objects and unstable or fragile items. Tell the cleaner about delicate surfaces, previous damage, loose fixtures, special care instructions and items that must not be touched. Unless a separate suitable service is expressly agreed, ordinary cleaning does not include handling fine art or collectibles, moving heavy furniture or appliances, or repairing fragile items. These precautions reduce risk; failure to store or disclose an item does not automatically forfeit a claim or make the customer responsible for another person's negligence. Any legally relevant contribution to a loss must be assessed on the actual facts.

Reporting and evaluating a property claim

Report damage through Support or Legal Contact as soon as reasonably practicable after discovery. Supply the booking reference, what happened, when it was discovered and proportionate photographs or other evidence where safely and lawfully available. Reasonably preserve the item, relevant messages and available purchase or repair records; take necessary emergency or safety measures without waiting for support. A receipt is helpful but its absence alone does not invalidate a claim. A disputed pre-existing condition, repair estimate, item value, age, condition and legally recoverable loss may require further evidence or expert or insurer review. No automatic full replacement payment or insurance benefit is promised. No special short reporting window extinguishes legal rights, and support review is not a prerequisite to legal action or an authorized payment dispute.

Injury and insurance limits

Report unsafe premises and stop or postpone unsafe work. A cleaner's injury does not automatically make the customer or ChoreJet liable; responsibility depends on applicable law and the actual circumstances. A booking is not evidence that ChoreJet, the cleaner or the homeowner has applicable insurance. Any available policy must be verified for the particular claim. Nothing here waives nonwaivable injury, workers' compensation or consumer rights, or transfers liability for another party's own misconduct.

Cleaner-supplied equipment and surface information

The standard service offer includes basic supplies provided by the cleaner. ChoreJet requires each cleaner's complete equipment kit to pass review before new work eligibility; this is not an insurance policy, a guarantee of chemical concentration or a promise that no damage can occur. Do not assume your household vacuum or another cleaner's equipment will replace a missing kit. Tell the cleaner about floor and surface materials, allergies, sensitivities and manufacturer-specific care requirements before service. Any customer-requested use of household equipment or special products requires agreement and does not remove the cleaner's kit obligations. Unsafe or unsuitable work must be stopped and reviewed through support.

Voluntary tips and cleaner allocation

Tips are optional and never a condition of service. After a completed, paid cleaning, the booking customer may add a separate tip of $1 to $500 through secure checkout, or give cash directly. ChoreJet takes no commission from tips and covers payment processing costs, so 100% of the collected tip is allocated to the participating cleaners. Tips do not reduce agreed service pay. The default split is equal among cleaners who completed assigned work; the customer may instead specify individual shares before payment. The checkout shows the total and allocation for approval. A pending or cancelled checkout is not a paid tip.

Digital tips are tracked separately from service charges, discounts, credits, rewards and invoices. Only provider-confirmed payments are eligible for transfer. Transfer timing depends on payment confirmation, connected-account readiness, provider availability and any refund or dispute review; a transfer to Stripe is not confirmation of a bank payout. ChoreJet does not collect or verify cash tips.

Cleaners must not pressure customers for tips, condition service on a tip, misrepresent fees as tips or solicit off-platform service payments. Report concerns through booking Support. For an incorrect tip, duplicate charge, refund or payment dispute, contact Support with the booking reference. Service refunds and tip refunds are separate; a service refund does not automatically refund a tip. Any approved tip refund or provider reversal is recorded separately and may require reversal of the corresponding cleaner transfer. Nothing in this policy waives mandatory consumer or worker rights.
