ChoreJet · Version 2026-10-07.1
Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026. English document. These documents describe the current marketplace workflow and preserve rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Agreement and operator
ChoreJet is an individually operated technology marketplace connecting customers with independent cleaning professionals. In these terms, “ChoreJet,” “we,” and “us” mean Sefa Koz, the individual proprietor operating this marketplace. Operator and notice details appear below. These terms apply to the platform; customers also accept the Customer Agreement and cleaners accept the Cleaner Agreement. The Cancellation Policy, Rewards Rules, and Electronic Consent are incorporated by reference. The Privacy Notice explains data practices; acknowledging it is not a waiver of privacy rights.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. Use your own accurate identity and keep credentials confidential. You may not share accounts, impersonate another person, create sham bookings, or bypass access controls. Notify support promptly of suspected compromise. Registration does not guarantee bookings, income, employment, background-check selection, or service availability.
Marketplace and service relationship
A customer requests cleaning; an independent professional chooses whether to accept. The accepted booking and its stated scope describe the service arrangement between those participants. ChoreJet supplies discovery, scheduling, messaging, payment facilitation and support tools. ChoreJet is not the person physically performing the cleaning. This description does not eliminate duties imposed on ChoreJet by applicable law or determine a worker’s legal classification. Classification depends on the actual relationship and applicable law.
Price and payment
Booking details, service scope, selected add-ons and the price displayed before payment govern that booking. Provide accurate home information. Obtain an agreed updated scope and price through the platform before additional work; do not collect undisclosed fees. Stripe processes payments. Customers authorize the specific charge they confirm. Cleaner allocation, platform fee, refunds and transfer timing are shown in the booking or payment record. A quoted amount is not a guarantee of bank settlement, and failed verification or payment-provider restrictions may delay payouts.
Cancellations and recurring plans
The linked Cancellation Policy explains the current workflow. Any applicable fee must be disclosed and agreed before it is charged. Refunds and adjustments remain subject to applicable law. A recurring plan schedules future services as described in its interface; it does not authorize undisclosed charges. Pausing or cancelling a plan does not automatically cancel a separate booking already created. Review both the plan and existing bookings.
Safety and lawful use
Do not use the marketplace for harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal work, fraud or unsafe services. Customers must disclose material hazards and authorize access. Cleaners may decline or stop unsafe work and promptly contact support. For immediate danger call emergency services. Identity, payout verification, ratings, tiers and background checks have distinct scopes; none is an insurance policy or a guarantee that no harm can occur. Only completed, verified screenings may be described as background checked.
Messages, reviews and content
Keep booking details and payment in the platform for traceability. Give truthful reviews of your own completed service. We do not condition benefits on positive reviews and do not prohibit or penalize honest negative reviews. No fake reviews, retaliation, disclosure of private addresses, threats or unlawful content. Moderation may address those violations without removing a review merely because it is unfavorable. You retain ownership of your content and give ChoreJet a nonexclusive license to host, display and use it as needed to operate the service. Do not post third-party secrets or sensitive identity documents.
Support, incidents and evidence
Report service problems through support with booking details and proportionate evidence. Do not upload unnecessary private household images or images of people without appropriate permission. Preserve relevant messages and receipts. Support review is not an insurance payout or a guaranteed refund. You may contact regulators, seek legal advice, pursue lawful claims or dispute a payment through your provider; these terms do not remove those rights.
Platform availability and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided as available and without a promise of uninterrupted access, a particular booking outcome or a particular cleaner’s conduct. We are not responsible merely because an independent participant breaches their own obligations. Nothing here releases ChoreJet from its own fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or duty that law does not allow to be excluded. No term limits mandatory consumer remedies, personal-injury rights that cannot lawfully be waived, statutory privacy rights or payment rights. This agreement does not transfer every responsibility to users.
Responsibility for your conduct
You are responsible for loss caused by your own unlawful actions, inaccurate material information or breach of your agreed obligations, to the extent established under applicable law. This does not require you to cover ChoreJet’s own misconduct or pay a claim solely because a complaint was made. Any allocation of responsibility remains subject to mandatory law and the facts of the incident.
Restrictions, termination and disputes
We may proportionately restrict access for credible security, fraud, safety, payment or material contract concerns, and explain the basis when lawful and appropriate. Contact support for review. A restriction does not extinguish earned funds, required refunds or legal rights. Try to resolve disputes through support first; this is not a mandatory barrier to legal action. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a waiver of jury rights. Florida law governs this platform agreement to the extent permitted by applicable law, without displacing mandatory protections of your home or service jurisdiction. Courts with lawful jurisdiction may hear disputes; this clause does not impose exclusive Florida venue or eliminate an available small-claims remedy.
Platform materials and third-party services
The platform software, design and ChoreJet materials may be used for lawful marketplace participation. Do not copy or exploit them beyond permissions allowed by law, misuse branding, scrape restricted personal records or interfere with security. Your own content remains yours under the limited operating license above. Third-party payment or screening services may require separate terms and consent; accepting these platform terms does not accept an undisclosed third-party agreement or authorize a consumer report.
Updates, records and contact
The version you accept is retained as a downloadable record. Material changes apply prospectively and may require renewed agreement; an updated page does not retroactively change a signed version. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent lawful. Contact us through /legal-contact.html or the postal address below for legal notices, privacy requests and questions. No update retroactively substitutes new terms for your recorded acceptance. Changes to operator or notice details will be published with a dated version.
