These documents describe the current marketplace workflow and preserve rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Download text copy Permanent version Legal Contact Scope and operator This notice describes the individually operated ChoreJet marketplace. Sefa Koz is responsible for the platform’s processing described in this notice. Use /legal-contact.html or the postal address below to contact the operator or make a privacy request. We do not claim that every privacy law applies identically to every user; applicable statutory rights remain available. Information collected We collect account names, email, role, password hashes, session and verification records; cleaner service-area/profile details; booking scope, address, schedule and time zone; participant messages, reviews, support submissions and attachments; payment and payout-provider references, statuses, refund records and accounting records. When you accept agreements, we retain the version, document hashes, your entered name, time, role, displayed consent notice, a network-address hash and limited browser information as evidence. Do not put Social Security numbers, full card numbers or identity-document images in ordinary messages. Purposes We use these records to create accounts, match and administer jobs, restrict address access, communicate service updates, facilitate payments and refunds, calculate rewards, investigate support and safety concerns, prevent fraud, document agreements and meet applicable accounting or legal duties. Marketing preference is optional and managed separately from account agreement. We do not treat acceptance of terms as blanket consent to every possible data use. Participants and service providers The customer and authorized assigned cleaner or team receive the booking information needed for their service. Exact addresses are restricted by participation and service status. Stripe handles payment/payout onboarding; full card numbers and sensitive onboarding identity data are entered in its hosted interfaces. When connected and an applicant is selected, Checkr collects screening identity details and consent through its hosted process; we retain provider references and screening status. Hosting and email delivery providers process operational data. Authorized administrators access records for legitimate operational, security, accounting or support purposes. Provider processing is also governed by its own notices. Other disclosures We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to lawful process, investigate fraud, protect safety, resolve a transaction dispute or carry out a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards. This is not permission to expose private household information publicly. We do not promise a sale/share opt-out mechanism for practices we have not implemented; we do not currently operate a paid advertising data-sharing program. Cookies and local storage Necessary cookies maintain sessions and authentication. Browser local storage retains language and certain display preferences; session storage may preserve a booking estimate. These are not themselves proof of identity or screening. The current site does not require marketing cookies for registration. Future optional tracking must be disclosed before activation with consent or opt-out controls where required. Retention and deletion We keep information for its operational purpose and applicable legal, accounting, security or dispute obligations. Signed agreement evidence and financial records may be retained after account closure where justified. Account deletion is blocked while active jobs or unresolved payment cases remain, and completed records may be redacted or anonymized. We do not promise immediate removal of every record or deletion from a provider that must retain its own records. Access, correction, export and deletion requests are available through account controls or Legal Contact; we verify requests proportionately and explain a lawful refusal or retention need. Security and sensitive information We use HTTPS, protected sessions, access restrictions and server-side validation. No system guarantees complete security. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive data. We do not offer this service to children under 18 and do not knowingly create child accounts. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information. Rights and changes Depending on your residence and the applicable law, you may have additional access, correction, deletion, restriction, opt-out, appeal or complaint rights. You will not lose mandatory rights by checking an agreement box. Contact /legal-contact.html without needing an account. Material changes will be identified prospectively. This notice must be reviewed against actual processing and provider contracts as the business expands. Operator and legal notices ChoreJet is operated by Sefa Koz as an individual proprietor.
